Thomas McClaughry (3.4) North Kortright Cemetary. Also called the Stone House Cemetary. Thomas was a farmer, a minuteman, a patriot spy, and an elder of the church. It is Thomas' memiors that paints the colorful protrait of life in early U.S.A. Source: John Culligan collection.
Braehead Cemetary. Also called Old Cemetary. The stone standing by the tree is John Reid McClaughry's wife, Margery Rose (1781-1853). Margery's inscription has all but disappeared. John's Gravestone is broken and on the ground to the right of Margery's grave. Source: John Culligan collection.
